Westchester County is committed to helping entrepreneurs and small businesses thrive and grow. We want you to leverage the resources available to make your small business as successful and profitable as possible.

The New York State Small Business Development Center (SBDC) provides expert management and technical assistance to start-ups and existing small businesses. SBDC is sponsored by the Small Business Administration and operates 22 campus-based regional centers and 23 outreach offices state-wide. These centers can apply the resources of university, private sector and government to solve problems and foster entrepreneurship. They provide a broad range of services that can help your small business succeed.

The Small Business Administration (SBA) provides customer-oriented, full-service programs, including management assistance, business planning, access to federal contracts and more. A new program, called "Low Doc," is a simplified application that loan applicants and their banks can complete. Businesses with sales under $5 million and 100 employees may apply.
